Growing up in the same town my entire life with the same 84 people occupying my class from preschool to senior year, it is safe for me to say that my first day on the University of Arkansas campus was intimidating at the least. I had never in my life walked with so many people just on my way to a morning class. However, my intimidation was soon forgotten as I realized what I had been missing out on during my experiences at my small high school. I immediately learned that constant buzzing of this campus happened to be one of its greatest strengths.

I had always known that college would be one of the highlights of my life, but I honestly had no idea how amazing it would be. I had heard the stories from my older friends about the endless involvement opportunities, but I could not have imagined the opportunities that have been presented to me. Before I knew it, I was a member of several organizations, and by my sophomore year even got the opportunity to serve as a student ambassador for the College of Education and Health Professions. Little did I know that campus involvement was just the beginning, I had yet to discover the curriculum opportunities, social life and beautiful recreation in this area.

As a junior this year, I am sadly beginning to realize that my time on this campus is dwindling down to a year, and I have not yet reached the point where I am prepared to leave all this. Don't get me wrong, I know that it is necessary for me to leave in order to pursue my continuing career goals, but part of me wants this part of my life to just stretch on for a couple more years. So far, my college experience has honestly been more than I could have asked for, and I suggest that everyone live it up while you can because before you know it you will be down to only one year left.
